Each year, an array of orchids are artfully displayed in the
conservatory, Pierce du Pont house, and the Visitor Center here at Longwood
Gardens. This year over 4,500 orchids are
on display, including stunning varieties such as Cattleya, Dendrobium,
Phalaenopsis, Paphiopedilum and Oncidium.
On par with the natural time of year in which orchid species
are in peak flower, Orchid Extravaganza will be on display from January
21-March 31, 2017.
